"Our Silver Wedding anniversary celebration was very
special & we thank you for writing the words to cover
the years with humour and pride. You
covered the tough times with compassion and made us laugh. Thank you so
much and we will see you again in 25 years." Martin & Liz. |

To celebrate special
anniversaries, or to reaffirm your love in front of family and
friends.
I will write a ceremony to suit the occasion.
Looking back at the past years, or to the future gives a couple a
confirmation of their mutual love for each other.
The most common reason is to reaffirm the marriage on the occasion
of an anniversary.
It is also suitable for married couples, who, after separation, are
reunited.
Whatever the circumstances, the ceremony should be meaningful &
romantic.
In the case of an
anniversary, I like to look back over the years, as well as
mentioning future plans the couple may have.
Australian law does not permit a second marriage ceremony while the
couples are still legally married.
Therefore, the wording,
chosen in consultation with me, should reflect the reason for the
ceremony.
As the celebrant I would
need to make it quite clear to the audience/guests that it is not a
real marriage ceremony.
